The Big Challenge has launched!
Big Challenge, launched by Minister of the Third Sector Kevin Brennan at The UnLtd Social in Canary Wharf, is a competition for any 16 - 25 year old with a big idea for a project or campaign that helps young people make positive choices about their lives.
Run by UnLtd in partnership with Changemakers and funded by Vodafone and V the Big Challenge gives young people the power and trust to find innovative solutions to the major challenges that face society today. The decisions about which challenges are addressed, which young people are given a wide variety of resources to tackle these challenges and how the programme will work are the responsibility of the 25 members of the Youth Leadership Team.
Big Challenge 2008 is...Your Life, Your Decision. How will you empower young people to take control of their lives and make positive choices about their future? Applications must focus on one or more of the following areas:
- Drugs, sex and alochol
- Sustainable living
- Gang culture
- Healthy living

UnLtd supports social entrepreneurs - people with vision, drive, commitment and passion who want to change the world for the better. We do this by providing a complete package of funding and support to help individuals make their ideas a reality.
UnLtdWorld is our new social networking site for social entrepreneurs. The site connects you with other socially minded people, allows you to search and share resources and opportunities, finds and lists services and products, finds answers to key questions,create and join groups and lots more.
UnLtdWorld is an online platform that connects social entrepreneurs and empowers the way social insight and targeted information are shared between social entrepreneurs, policy makers, research and relevant organisations and companies

Hosted by UnLtd on Saturday 29 November, from 9.00am to 6.30pm ecoCampLondon is a BarCamp about the environment and sustainability. Unlike conventional conferences, BarCamps employ a highly democratic and user-generated meeting methodology, where the participants' level of engagement and sense of ownership make all the difference.
The inspiring principle of ecoCampLondon is that the planet belongs to us and we want to bring the discussion back to those opinionated people who are craving for a place where their ideas, projects, discussions can be valued by others and eventually brought forward.
